7 men hanged in the south-eastern town of Mahan- One man hanged in Hormozgan

Since the beginning of September 2007, 34 people have been hanged in Iran

 

IranHR-September 12:According to the Iranian State run news agency Fars , 7 men were hanged in public in town of Mahan, in the southeastern province of Kerman.

These individuals were identified as Ali Orang, Davoud Talebi, Majid Barzekar, Majid Man’ami, Mohammad Bameri, Amr Bameri, and Mehdi Pour-Sheikh-Ali. Ali salari, head of Mahan Revolutionary Court, told Fars news agency that these men were convicted of armed drug trafficking and participation in murder. According to the Iranian state media, 33 people, among them two women, have been hanged in the last 12 days. 

According to another report one man was hanged in the southern province of Hormozgan. He was convicted of murder.
