At Least 8 Prisoners Transferred to Solitary Confinement For Execution

Iran Human Rights (MAY 23 2016): At least eight prisoners were transferred to solitary confinement in Karaj's Rajai Shahr Prison (west of Tehran) on Saturday May 20, report close sources to Iran Human Rights (IHR).
These prisoners, who are all convicted of murder, are scheduled to be executed on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. According to reports gathered by IHR, at least 40 prisoners were executed in Iran during the first three weeks of May.
