Iran Human Rights, August 27: Five people were hanged in Tehran’s Evin prison early this morning, reported the state run news agency ISCAnews today.
The news agency hasn’t identified those executed by name.
According to reliable sources from Iran, one of those executed today was the 34 years old woman, Shabnam, who was convicted of killing her husband Mojtaba.

An unnamed man was executed in Ghezelhesar Prison on 7 October 2026 following a qisas sentence for murder, according to Javan Online, cited by Iran Human Rights.
