Four Drug Related Prisoners in Imminent Danger of Execution

Iran Human Rights (JAN 3 2017): At least four prisoners were reportedly transferred to solitary confinement in Ghezel Hesar Prison in preparation for their executions.The transfer to solitary confinement for the four prisoners, who are on death row for drug related offenses, occurred on Monday January 2.

Close sources have identified the prisoners as Khashiar Behrouzi, Mehdi Kavousi, Anoush Baluch, and Harif Gholami.

According to close sources, Mr. Gholami was transferred to Ghezel Hesar from Tehran Central Prison.
