Iran Human Rights, January 1, 2009: One man was hanged in the prison of Arak (central Iran) on December 30., reported the state run news agency Fars.
The man who was not identified by name, was convicted of drug trafficking according to the news.

فرشاد جمال‌آبادی، اهل روستای کفری شیراز، ۲۹ مهر ۱۴۰۵ در زندان عادل‌آباد اعدام شد.
سازمان حقوق بشر ایران گزارش می‌دهد او با اتهام قتل عمد به قصاص محکوم شده بود. پرونده‌اش از برجعلی تقی‌زاده امیرسالاری مستقل بود؛ هر دو در یک روز اعدام شدند.
