RAHELE ZAMANI WAS EXECUTED THIS MORNING

Iran Human Rights, January 2: According to our sources, Rahele Zamani (27) was executed this morning at the Evin prison in Tehran. She was convicted of murdering her husband and her execution was postponed two weeks ago most probably due to the national and international attention around her case. Most of the attention was due to a letter she wrote to her husband’s parents asking them for forgiveness. The letter was published in the Iranian daily newspaper Etemad. She was mother of a 3 years old boy and 5 years old girl.

Iran Human Rights will come back with more details regarding this mornings executions.
